About Us

The passion for the rare and unique appaloosa, harlequin and speckled pinto alpaca brought together two alpaca breeders Sian and Robert Rickards of Omaru Alpacas and Carolyn and Jack Cumper of Riatta Alpacas to amalgamate and form the Ingwe Alpaca herd in August 2022.  Both breeders still run their own individual alpaca breeding programs alongside the amalgamated herd. 

Whilst still in our early days of breeding we are seeing success in producing the patterns we are passionate about and hope to continue to expand and improve on the quality of alpaca we are breeding. 

We have been fortunate to acquire some quality and sort after genetics out of world renowned spot producing alpaca - Neo Summerhill Leopard Prince, EP Cambridge The Leopard, Ambersun The Jag to name a few.
